Many people know when they’re pregnant, but some don’t know until months later or when their bump becomes visible. Elle Woods found herself in the latter as she discovered she was expecting when she was already seven months along. In a twist, she was only aged 16 at the time and couldn’t tell her parents about it.
As most teenagers would, Elle buried the situation within herself and pretended it wasn’t happening.
Sharing this with her TikTok audience via a series of videos, the now mom-of-two explained she found out she was pregnant through her nutritionist and not her GP, and she just didn’t tell anyone she was pregnant. But a few weeks later, she woke up in a lot of pain and asked her dad for some painkillers at 4 a.m.

It instantly dawned on Elle she was already into her labor, and much to her dad’s shock, “half of the baby’s head [was] already out.”

This is to say that Elle’s dad practically sprang into action and, without holding back, called emergency services. But as the nearest hospital was 40minutes away, he was informed he had to deliver his granddaughter there and then. Elle shared: “[He] moved me to the en-suite as that was the largest tiled area, and they put down a whole heap of towels.”

“My uncle, my dad’s brother was living with us and he was in charge of keeping my sister with Down Syndrome occupied with other things so she didn’t know what was going on.”

“Dad said it was quite quick. I’ve had a second child since and I labored really quick with him as well.” Overall, Elle claims there were just 20 minutes between her waking her dad up and her daughter being born on the bathroom floor. When the ambulance arrived 15 minutes later, they eventually picked her up and took her to the hospital.
